1. How long have you been writing? Almost all my life. I remember writing a “newspaper” when I was about eight years old for my family. I used to write little stories and poems all the time. I worked as a P.R. and news writer for about 20 years.
2. How long have you been blogging? Almost four years.
3. Who’s a favorite author? Clichéd, but true, Jane Austen and Henry James.
4. Who’s your favorite male movie star (from any era)? Marcello Mastroianni
5. Who’s your favorite female movie star (from any era)? His one-time lover Catherine Deneuve
6. If you could have one wish granted, what would it be? That my kids would live close to me or at least that they’d all be on the same continent!
7. What’s your favorite “naughty” food? Any form of refined sugar.
8. What’s your favorite guilty pleasure? See above answer!
9. What keeps you awake at night? Insomnia, I’m not being cheeky here. I have developed TERRIBLE insomnia in recent years.
10. What brings you the most joy? My grandchildren!
11. What do you wish you knew then… that you know now. Time really does go as fast as your parents said—don’t let life pass by unnoticed.
